Southern Pearl in the USA

Southern Pearl arrived in September and is currently being commissioned. She is a beautiful boat and Laura and I are getting excited about cruising aboard her. Starlight Marine began the commissioning process is Ft. Lauderdale and Bob and I just moved her to Seminole Marina in West Palm Beach so that Offshore Connections could complete the electronics commissioning. We had 6 to 10 foot Gulf steam seas with 20 to 25 knot Northeasterly winds and she handled the trip easily while providing a comfortable ride.
Laura did a fantastic job with the interior and she showed beautifully at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. Laura plans on completing the decoration when the commissioning is complete. At that point she will become our new home.
We hope to complete the commissioning process by Christmas as both Starlight and Offshore are only a little over halfway finished with their commissioning. Once completed we will take Southern Pearl north to her new home at Camachee Cove Marina in St. Augustine.
We hope you enjoy the pictures and will keep you posted when we start our trip north.
Paul
