Bahamas trip

Laura and I just returned from a month in the Bahamas on Sea Trial. We departed Steinhatchee on May 19th and returned to Ft. Lauderdale on June 24th.
We traveled down the Florida west cost and thru the keys just south of Matecumbe Key and made our way up the east coast to Ft. Lauderdale.
From Ft. Lauderdale we crossed to Cat Cay in the Bahamas to go thru immigration and customs. Adam made the crossing with us and stayed with us five days while cruising the Berry Islands. We dropped him off in Nassau for a flight back to Ft. Lauderdale. We really enjoyed having Adam and hated to see him go so soon, but he had to get back to school.
From Nassau we traveled south working our way down the Exumas. We made it as far south as Great Guana Cay before turning northeast and crossing to Eleuthera where we spent several days cruising the west cost of the Island.
It was then time to began our return home back thru the Berry's and Cat Cay before crossing the stream again to Ft. Lauderdale.
The seas and weather were absolutely wonderful the whole trip. We left Sea Trial in Ft. Lauderdale and put her up for sale as Southern Pearl is due to arrive sometime in September.
We have posted a few pictures of our trip for your enjoyment.

First Time in the Water

The construction process has been quite intriguing and educational. The employees at Jet Tern Marine have been very gracious and the quality of the work is exceptional. Laura and I have visited the factories twice and were able to spend time in Hong Kong and on the Mainland. Everyone has been kind and helpful everywhere we traveled. We would recommend a visit to China for anyone with a sense of adventure. We have posted a few of the photographs taken during our visit as well as pictures of Southern Pearl. We will continue to post information as we progress along as our adventure evolves.
